So on the night of the Top 10, everyone flooded the site because they wanted to know if David had a girlfriend. You guys are all killing me…First off, who cares if David has a girlfriend or not, you can still dream anyway. When discussing his prom plans the girl they panned over to was not his girlfriend, but only a long time friend from high school, Mietra. You are all taking this and making it such a big deal it’s about to make people suicidal.
I totally agree, fans are overreacting. We need to believe what David has said in his interviews…he wants to focus on his music and career right now. The guy does need to have some kind of personal life though, especially after IDOL. Don’t jump to conclusions right away. This is only the beginning of what we’re going to hear from the media about David’s life. Let’s continue to keep him at the top on IDOL and show him we really care about him. VOTE, VOTE, VOTE!!

i agree but at first i overreacted too-i was left bawling for at least 3 hours straight all through voting for him, even though i was about to NOT because i was soo upset!! yes, it’s pathetic but when i love a guy, i love him and i just do stuff like that. but then i thought hey, if this IS his girlfriend, i should be happy if he’s happy. and plus, it probably wouldn’t last forever, so you never know what could happen…but are you sure it’s not his girlfriend? i mean i know they’re like besst friends but how do we know they’re not closer
