Pls tell David he did an awesome job with the studio recording of Angels. I hope he is taking care of himself especially his voice. He sounded hoarse in the recording, but pleasantly sexy.
The other thing, it was a smart move to play the piano, but at the cost of his vocals. Now that the public is aware he can sing as well as play the piano, David should concentrate on just singing. The competition is only going to get tougher each week as the weaker ones get eliminated and David needs to be on top of his game every time. He doesn’t sing well when he is thinking of playing the right chords etc. Give it another 5 years and he could be as good as Elton John. Sing Angels in the final 2, without the piano, with more edge/growls in the chorus and he will blow the roof off.
Last, tell David not to hold back his voice when recording. He was all right with Angels, but in previous recordings, he sounded like he was self conscious and was trying not to wake up someone. Just let go and sing like there are 1000 people.
God, this kid sings so pretty. Sigh. His studio versions are flawless, I don’t like Robbie Williams or whatever his name is but little D did an awesome job with this cover. Btw the bouncing david avatar is hilarious (by hilarious I really mean sorta lame and embarrassing, sorry). Thanks for putting the audio player, mayor props!
I’m from Singapore. When I saw David’s auditions on the television, i was immediately captivated by his voice! He has a very nice and soothing tone, believing in what he is singing. Simply love to watch his performance!!! May I know is the “studio” versions of the songs available for downloads?
