Proves Mariah is a great mentor and was able to teach David how to do her runs and vocal techniques. I know a lot feared Mariah night and had doubts on Mariah as a valid and good mentor. THis proves them all wrong! Way to go Mariah and David A!

david, in the span of a few weeks, I lost a friend from childhood, found out I have to take treatments for my Hepatitus C and I may have Glaucoma. I saw you perform the song Angels on tv. I have to admit I broke down and was crying uncontrolably. I was considering suicide and told no one about it. I have been in AA and NA succesfully for 5 years now. I pray I can get to meet you someday if you ever come to the Ft lauderdale area or even anyplace in Florida. I bought all you songs off itunes and i voted for you. You may not be an angel, but theres definetly an angelic influence in you. Your songs have a message ( Angels and The Voice) people need to hear.
I play the song “Angels” during my daily prayer and meditation. That song and your words as to why you chose it changed my mind about suicide.
I love David Archuleta’s performance. Once again he proved that he is an amazing singer - and person. He has so much soul in him. He’s inspiring. Though I must admit that David Cook is quite good, too. He’s also strong in terms of votes. This worries me for our dear Archuleta.

David’s voice and his gentle and gracious style are all so strong…I don’t think he even knows how powerful he is.

i’ve never seen american idol season 7 but most of my friends did.i’ve heard of David Archuleta’s amazing voice.i heard his rendition of “when you believe” from my team leader’s workstation at etelecare global solutions in makati city philippines branch and i was so entised and strucked.it was the first time i heard his voice until my team mates were watching the finals at the pantry.it was the first time i saw him on tv and HE’S SOOOOOOOOOO CUUUUUTTTTTTEEEEEEEEEEE!!!i agree with simon that it doesn’t matter anymore whoever wins because David Cook has the performance level and he’s good too.however,Archuleta is my American Idol and i can’t help but listen to his rendition of “when you believe” over and over to my celfone or pc.i love the way he performs and deliver his lines.
